New projects supported by the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation.
7 November 2024At the end of its second annual meeting, the Executive Committee of the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation decided to support 9 new projects aimed at improving the living conditions of women, both in France and worldwide.

Defense of Rights & Fight Against Violence Against Women and Girls:
- Le Filon – “Daytime Reception for Women in Transit and/or Homeless” (France): Support women in precarious situations, without shelter, or with psychological difficulties, and promote their personal and social reconstruction.
- Aid’Elles – “Workshops and Retreats for Women Victims of Violence” (France): Offer diverse support to women victims of violence through a variety of workshops, complementing psychotrauma counseling.
- Léa Solidarité Femmes – “Emergency Reception and Safe Space” (France): Provide immediate safety for women fleeing violence from their homes.
- Utopia 56 – “Orientation, Support, and Accommodation for Single Women, Families, and Unaccompanied Minor Refugees” (France): Address the urgent needs of exiled women in makeshift camps north of Paris and in the suburbs through outreach, meal distribution, clothing, hygiene products, and tents.
- Paroles de Femmes – le relais – “Citizens’ Relays Facing Violence in Rural Areas” (France): Recruit and train rural relays to spread essential information to women victims of violence in remote areas.
- The Sorority Foundation – “Women’s and Adolescents’ Safety Worldwide” (Global): Fight against domestic violence, intra-family violence, harassment, and all forms of violence against women, adolescents, and people from gender minorities.

Professional Integration & Economic Rights of Women:
- Emanik – “Women Builders of Their Destiny – Mujeres Constructoras” (Peru): Facilitate the professional integration of women with disabilities and offer women in the Huarochirí neighborhood (Peru) training in the construction sector, along with psycho-social and medical support.
- Laafi France – « SENAPI » (Senegal): Train women in precarious situations in permaculture and agroecology, while supporting them in the development of income-generating activities.

Women’s Actions for the Environment:
- Mékong Enfants des Rizières – “Women, Environment, and Resilience: An Agroecology Project for the Empowerment of Ethnic Minorities in Laos” (Laos): Promoting the autonomy of indigenous women by developing a cereal processing activity that generates income and serves as an alternative to deforestation.
